This full-day expedition pairs a longer clear-kayak paddle with a proper snorkelling stop further offshore than our half-day session covers, reaching quieter reef further from the beach. A support boat carries snorkel gear, water and lunch, so you’re never far from a break if you need one.
A guide leads the whole route, and hotel pickup and drop-off anywhere on the island are included.
Hotel pickup anywhere in Zanzibar — Stone Town, Nungwi, Kendwa, Paje or elsewhere — included
Pickup between 8:00–8:30 AM, return to your hotel by approximately 4:00 PM
Expect a longer, more active day than our standard kayak session: a paddle out toward quieter reef further from shore, with a support boat nearby carrying gear and supplies, followed by a proper snorkelling stop over coral away from the busier near-shore reef. Lunch is taken either on the boat or on a quiet stretch of beach depending on conditions.
A reasonable level of paddling fitness helps, though the guide adjusts the route and pace to the group on the day.
Your driver collects you from your hotel anywhere on the island and transfers you to the launch point at Matemwe.
A safety briefing and kayak fitting before setting off, with a support boat following the group.
Paddle out toward quieter reef further from shore, with breaks along the way.
Snorkel over coral reef using the gear provided, with the support boat close by.
A packed lunch on the boat or a quiet stretch of beach, depending on conditions.
Paddle back to the launch point and transfer back to your hotel.
