This full-day version of our jet car (dune buggy) safari covers a longer off-road route through Zanzibar’s rural northeast, followed by an afternoon at a quiet beach for lunch and swimming. It suits guests who enjoyed the half-day buggy route but want more time behind the wheel and a proper beach break afterward.
Buggy, fuel, helmet, lunch and guide are all included, along with hotel pickup and drop-off anywhere on the island.
Hotel pickup anywhere in Zanzibar — Stone Town, Nungwi, Kendwa, Paje or elsewhere — included
Pickup between 8:30–9:00 AM, return to your hotel by approximately 4:30 PM
Expect a longer buggy route than our half-day session — more backroads, more villages, and a stretch of open bush trail — before finishing at a quiet stretch of beach for lunch and time to swim. The driving itself stays easy and automatic throughout; the extra length comes from covering more ground and adding the beach stop, not from harder terrain.
No driving license or off-road experience is required.
Your driver collects you from your hotel anywhere on the island and transfers you to the buggy base at Pwani Mchangani.
A safety briefing and short practice loop cover the controls before you set off in convoy.
Follow your guide along a longer route of backroads, villages and open bush trail, with stops for photos.
Arrive at a quiet beach for lunch and soft drinks.
Free time to swim and relax on the beach before heading back.
Your driver transfers you back to your hotel to close out the day.
